Breath Alcohol Analysis testing is conducted using AS3547 certified testing units.

Testing can be done in an office on the client site or if required on the side of the road when working on construction sites or roadworks. All tests are done in the strictest of confidence and privacy is assured while testing is done.

2
Confirmation turn around times

ASSAT will aim to report all pathology results in most cases within 24-48 hours from the time the specimen is received in the laboratory. ASSAT has established a relationship with a NATA approved laboratory on the Mid North Coast of NSW and specimens will be dropped to the collection centre within 1 hour of completion of screening

Report Options

Reports can be faxed and/or sent on hardcopy in A4 format. Your reports can also be sent by email to a nominated address.

4
Advantages of Saliva or Urine screening

Oral Fluid (Saliva) screening is usually the preferred method of drug screening used as this test show an indication of substance use within a 48 -72 hour window depending on substance.

Urine is generally used for pre-employment as it has a historical detection for up to 6 weeks after substance use. Urine testing also has the requirement for the subject to be visually monitored while filling the cup which can cause issue where female staff are involved.
